Whitney Elementary is dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences that best meet our students’ needs and abilities. Whitney serves roughly 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade.  

All of our elementary school students receive instruction in the core academic areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Additionally, students receive encore instruction in the areas of art, music, physical education, library and technology.  Interested students in fifth grade are able to participate in our instrumental program and participate in band or orchestra.

As a learning community, we believe we have a profound impact on each student’s life and provide a positive role model for students.  Our impact is enhanced through the establishment of a positive working partnership with our parents and guardians.  We look forward to establishing this positive working relationship with our Whitney community and having a successful school year.
